Compromise is a Key

I used to think that when you are looking for someone to spend your life with, you must be compatible with him or her. But I was wrong. As the saying goes, "birds on the same feather flacks together" doesn't work in a relationship sometimes. To some life would be boring. Now, the "opposite attracts" works for me and my husband for we complements each other...as well as we are learning from each others differences. Hubby and I came to appreciate each other more and more each day. One of the thing we are not compatible with is the part of decorating our house. When it comes to art prints,he likes photography better than abstract. I love abstract so much and he could care less. But I tell you, this type of thing doesn't bother us as much for we learn to compromise...which is one of the keys for the marriage/relationship to work.
